Workspace Preferences

The top part of the Settings page controls a few choices that affect how Artlope works for you day to day.

Default currency

Section titled “Default currency”

Default currency is the currency Artlope uses first when you create new prices and fees.

This affects new entries such as:

  • artwork prices
  • exhibition prices
  • sale-related amounts
  • fees and other finance entries that start from your default settings

You can still change the currency later on individual records if needed.

Theme

Section titled “Theme”

Theme controls how Artlope looks in your workspace.

You can choose:

  • Automatic to follow your device or browser theme
  • Light to always use the light theme
  • Dark to always use the dark theme

This setting changes the look of your workspace, but it does not change your artwork data, your website content, or what other people see.

Emails

Section titled “Emails”

Emails lets you decide which Artlope emails you want to receive.

The available email settings are:

  • Important updates for important product and account updates
  • Upcoming schedule for a morning email when you have exhibitions or submissions coming up this week

The upcoming schedule email is only available after your email address is verified. If it is enabled, Artlope checks your schedule every morning around 8:00 based on your saved time zone and only sends an email when there are events this week.

Saving changes

Section titled “Saving changes”

After changing one or more settings, click Save settings.

If the update works, Artlope shows a success message to confirm that your settings were updated.

If something goes wrong, an error message appears above the button.
