Portfolio Details

Open any portfolio to see its detail page.

This is where you build the actual document that you want to share.

At the top of the page, you can:

  • Export the portfolio
  • Save your changes

The save button becomes useful when you have changed the portfolio and want to update the stored version before exporting or leaving the page.

After saving, Artlope shows a short success message.

Each portfolio has these main tabs:

  • Configuration
  • Artworks
  • Work history
  • Contact
  • Custom page

The tab labels can also show counts, for example for artworks or work history entries already included.

The Configuration tab controls the overall structure of the document.

The basic fields are:

  • Name
  • Date
  • Recipient

Name is the title of the portfolio document inside Artlope.

Date is the document date you want to show on the portfolio.

Recipient is the person, gallery, institution, or opportunity the portfolio is prepared for.

These fields are especially useful when you keep several versions of a portfolio for different uses.

You can choose which document sections are included and in which order they appear.

The available sections are:

  • Title
  • Artist statement
  • Artworks
  • CV / Exhibitions
  • Contact information
  • Custom page

You can:

  • turn sections on or off
  • move sections up or down
  • drag sections into a different order

This helps you adapt the portfolio to different situations. Some applications want a very short document, while others need more context.

The Artist statement source decides where the statement text comes from.

You can use:

  • your profile statement
  • a category description that already contains a statement for a specific series or body of work

This is helpful when you want one portfolio to describe your overall practice and another to focus on one project.

The same tab also lets you choose which fields are shown for each artwork in the exported portfolio.

You can turn these fields on or off:

  • Title
  • Year
  • Medium
  • Dimensions
  • Price
  • Description
  • Artwork type
  • Additional images

If Additional images is enabled, you can also choose where they should appear:

  • on the Same slide
  • on the Next slide

This setting mainly matters for export layout and presentation style.

The output format area controls the document size and orientation.

You can choose:

  • A4 or US Letter
  • Portrait or Landscape

These settings affect exports.

PowerPoint export is only available in Landscape.

You can also delete the portfolio from the configuration page.

To help avoid mistakes, Artlope may ask you to confirm the name before deletion.
