Exporting Your CV
One of the main reasons to keep your Profile up to date is that you can export a CV directly from it.
This is useful when you need a clean, current document without rebuilding your history each time.
Exporting
Section titled “Exporting”Click Export CV at the top of the Profile page.
Choose either PDF or DOCX from the export menu.
Artlope creates the selected CV file and downloads it to your device.
The file name uses your profile name when available.
What the CV includes
Section titled “What the CV includes”The exported CV can include:
- your name
- your account email
- your location
- saved contact information
- education
- exhibitions
- fairs and markets
- publications
- scholarships, awards, and residencies
- work history
Only sections that have content are included.
If you have work history entries in your profile, they are added at the end of the exported CV.
Where exhibitions come from
Section titled “Where exhibitions come from”Exhibitions in the CV are pulled from your exhibition records, not typed into the Profile page directly.
That means a complete CV usually depends on two things:
- keeping your
Profilecurrent - keeping your Exhibitions records current
When to use a portfolio instead
Section titled “When to use a portfolio instead”The exported profile CV is useful when you want one current master CV.
If you need a more tailored document for a specific opportunity, a Portfolio can be a better fit.
Portfolios let you:
- choose which work history entries to include
- choose which contact details to show
- combine CV material with artworks and custom pages
