Exporting Your CV

One of the main reasons to keep your Profile up to date is that you can export a CV directly from it.

This is useful when you need a clean, current document without rebuilding your history each time.

Click Export CV at the top of the Profile page.

In the export window, you can choose:

  • which sections to include and their order
  • whether entries are sorted from newest to oldest or oldest to newest
  • which contact details to include
  • A4 or US Legal Letter paper size
  • PDF or DOCX file format

By default, all sections and contact details are selected, entries are sorted from newest to oldest, the paper size is A4, and the file format is DOCX.

Drag sections into the order you want, or use the arrow buttons. Then click Export.

Artlope creates the selected CV file and downloads it to your device.

The file name uses your profile name when available.

The exported CV can include:

  • your name
  • your account email
  • your location
  • saved contact information
  • education
  • exhibitions
  • fairs and markets
  • publications
  • scholarships, awards, and residencies
  • work history

Only selected sections that have content are included.

Your section, contact, sorting, paper size, and file format choices apply only to the downloaded file. They do not change the information saved in your profile.

Exhibitions in the CV are pulled from your exhibition records, not typed into the Profile page directly.

That means a complete CV usually depends on two things:

  • keeping your Profile current
  • keeping your Exhibitions records current

The exported profile CV is useful when you want one current master CV.

If you need a more tailored document for a specific opportunity, a Portfolio can be a better fit.

Portfolios let you:

  • choose which work history entries to include
  • choose which contact details to show
  • combine CV material with artworks and custom pages
