Images And Attachments
Notes can hold images and document attachments alongside the written content.
Use images for visual references, sketches, installation ideas, work-in-progress photos, or anything you want to review visually. Use attachments for longer documents or files you want to keep with the note.
Adding images
Section titled “Adding images”In the Images section, click the + button and choose an image.
You can also drag one or more images onto the note page. When the drop area appears, release the files to upload them.
Images can be up to 3 MB each. If an image is larger, Artlope can offer to resize it before uploading. HEIC and HEIF images are converted to JPEG for upload.
Click an image thumbnail to view it at a larger size. You can also remove the image from that view.
Adding attachments
Section titled “Adding attachments”Use the attachments area to add supporting documents.
Supported attachment types include:
- TXT
- RTF
- DOC
- DOCX
Attachments can be up to 10 MB each.
You can download or remove an attachment from the note. Removing it does not change the note’s text, tags, mentions, or other files.
Choosing between an image and an attachment
Section titled “Choosing between an image and an attachment”Add visual material to Images when you want to see a thumbnail and open it in the image viewer.
Add PDFs, text files, and word-processing documents as attachments. Both kinds of files stay connected to the note and are included in your Artlope data export.
