Recording And Managing Media Coverage
Open Media Coverage from the workspace navigation to see all the mentions you have recorded.
Adding media coverage
Section titled “Adding media coverage”Use the + button in the page header to add a mention.
Enter the Name of the media, such as the newspaper, magazine, website, podcast, or blog that published the coverage. This field is required.
The Date defaults to today. Change it to the publication date if the coverage appeared on another day.
Every mention also needs at least one source:

Description of offline sourcefor a print or other offline version. Include enough information to find it again, such as the publication date, issue, section, and page number.
You can provide both when an article has online and print versions.
The remaining fields are optional:
Contact detailscan hold the writer, editor, publication contact, or any useful follow-up information.Excerptcan hold a short passage from the coverage.Image of the mentionaccepts one screenshot or scan. Select the add-image button to choose a file, or drag and drop one image onto the page. Dropping an image from the Media Coverage list opens a new mention with the image already attached.
Recording what was mentioned
Section titled “Recording what was mentioned”Under What was mentioned?, select everything that applies.
Select The artist when the coverage discusses you or your practice directly.
Use Artworks to connect any works discussed or pictured in the coverage. Start typing an artwork name to search, then select it from the results. You can select more than one artwork.
Use Exhibitions in the same way to find and select one or more exhibitions.
You can combine these choices. For example, an exhibition review can mention the artist, the exhibition, and several individual artworks.
Select Add coverage to save the record.
Finding previous coverage
Section titled “Finding previous coverage”The Media Coverage page lists the media name, date, and source for each mention.
Use the Date menu to show either Newest first or Oldest first.
The Search field searches the Name of the media and Description of offline source. This lets you find a publication by name or search details such as an issue, city, or page number that you recorded for an offline source.
Select a media name in the table to open its detail page.
Viewing and editing a mention
Section titled “Viewing and editing a mention”The Detail tab shows the source, contact details, what was mentioned, excerpt, and uploaded image. Linked artworks and exhibitions appear as cards that open their respective detail pages.
Open the Edit tab to update any information or change the linked artworks and exhibitions. The image section shows the current image, if there is one. Select its replace-image button to choose a replacement, or drag and drop one image onto the page. Select Remove current image to remove it.
Use Save to keep your changes. Use Cancel to leave the edit tab without saving.
Coverage on artworks and exhibitions
Section titled “Coverage on artworks and exhibitions”When a mention is linked to an artwork, it appears in the artwork’s Media coverage section directly above Exhibition history.
When a mention is linked to an exhibition, it appears in the exhibition’s Media coverage section below Other artists for group exhibitions. For solo exhibitions, it appears after the artwork section.
Select the media name in either section to return to the full media coverage record.
