CV Information
The Profile page is designed to help you keep the core parts of your CV up to date.
You do not need to enter everything at once. You can build this section gradually and return whenever something changes.
Education
Section titled “Education”Use Education for schools, academies, study programs, workshops, or other formal training you want on your CV.
Each education entry has:
Start yearEnd yearDescription
Description is usually the place for the name of the school, program, or course.
Start year is required.
End year is optional. If you leave it empty, the entry can still be used for ongoing education.
Entries are shown with the newest ones first.
Scholarships, awards, and residencies
Section titled “Scholarships, awards, and residencies”Use Scholarships, awards, and residencies for recognitions, grants, residencies, and similar milestones.
Each entry has:
YearDescription
The description is where you name the award, residency, grant, or opportunity.
Both fields are important for keeping the entry clear and useful in a CV.
Entries are shown with the newest ones first.
Publications
Section titled “Publications”Use Publications for books, catalogues, printed features, or other published material connected to your work.
Each publication entry has:
YearTitleISBNLink
Year and Title are the main fields.
ISBN is optional and is useful for books or catalogues.
Link is optional and can point to a publisher page, online article, archive page, or another useful reference.
Entries are shown with the newest ones first.
Work History
Section titled “Work History”Use Work History for jobs, studio roles, assistantships, teaching positions, or other professional experience you want to include on your CV.
Each work history entry has:
Start yearEnd yearDescription
Description is usually the place for the role, employer, studio, or organization.
Start year is required.
End year is optional. If you leave it empty, the entry can still be used for ongoing work.
Entries are shown with the newest ones first.
Exhibitions in your CV
Section titled “Exhibitions in your CV”Your profile CV is not limited to the fields on the Profile page.
When you export a CV, Artlope also uses the exhibition records you keep in Exhibitions.
This means your CV can combine:
- profile entries such as education and publications
- exhibition history from your exhibition records
Keeping both sections up to date gives you a much stronger starting point when you need a current CV quickly.
Reusing CV information in portfolios
Section titled “Reusing CV information in portfolios”The profile entries in this section can also be reused in portfolios.
Portfolio work history can pull in:
- education
- work history
- scholarships, awards, and residencies
- publications
