Work History Contact And Custom Pages

Portfolios in Artlope can include more than artworks alone.

The Work history, Contact, and Custom page tabs help you turn a group of images into a more complete portfolio document.

The Work history tab gathers background information that can appear in the portfolio’s CV section.

It is divided into these sections:

  • Exhibitions
  • Education
  • Work History
  • Scholarships, awards, residencies
  • Publications

These sections can pull in information you already keep elsewhere in Artlope:

  • exhibitions from your exhibition records
  • education from your profile
  • work history from your profile
  • scholarships, awards, and residencies from your profile
  • publications from your profile

You can include or exclude entries one by one.

You can also select or clear a whole section at once.

You can add entries that exist only for this portfolio.

This is useful when:

  • you want to tailor a CV for one opportunity
  • you have a one-off item you do not want to add to your general profile yet
  • you need a shorter or more selective version of your history

The fields depend on the section:

  • Exhibitions: year, name, location
  • Education: start year, end year, name
  • Work History: reused from your profile work history entries
  • Scholarships, awards, residencies: year, name
  • Publications: year, name

Custom entries can be added for exhibitions, education, scholarships, awards, residencies, and publications.

Work History entries in portfolios come from your profile and can be selected or deselected there.

The Contact tab controls which contact details appear in the document.

Artlope can reuse contact information from your profile.

You can choose exactly which entries to include.

Depending on what you have stored, this can include things like:

  • email addresses
  • phone numbers
  • website links
  • social links
  • other labeled contact entries from your profile

You can also add custom contact text.

This is useful for:

  • a short note about how to get in touch
  • studio representation details
  • a preferred contact line for one application

The custom text is added to the portfolio contact section together with the selected profile entries.

The Custom page tab lets you add one extra page with your own title and rich text content.

This page can be used for whatever the portfolio needs.

For example:

  • a project statement
  • a short biography
  • installation notes
  • a checklist for the recipient
  • a page written specifically for one open call

You can set:

  • the page Name
  • the page Content

The editor supports basic rich text formatting such as:

  • headings
  • bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough
  • bullet lists
  • numbered lists
  • block quotes
  • links

The custom page also appears as its own section in the configuration tab, where you can turn it on or off and move it within the document order.
