Filtering And Grouping

The Artworks page normally shows all your works. When you need something specific, filters help you get there faster.

Use the view buttons above the artworks to switch between the grid of tiles and a table. The table shows a small image, name, status, date, inventory ID, and artwork type, which can make a large collection faster to scan. Artlope saves this choice for your account.

When artworks are grouped, each group keeps its own grid or table.

You can filter by:

  • year
  • type
  • availability

Type includes original, limited edition, and open edition.

Availability helps you find works that are available now, available on certain dates, or already sold.

If the completion chart is visible above the list, you can also click a bar to filter the page to artworks completed in that month. Use Reset filters to clear that selection again.

If you click Show more, you can also filter by:

  • exhibitions
  • categories
  • materials

This is useful when you want to find, for example, all works in one series or all works made with a certain material.

You can also use Group by to split the artwork list into smaller sections.

Grouping options include:

  • state
  • location
  • current exhibition
  • collector

This can make large artwork lists much easier to scan.
