Shipping Artworks

Use shipments to keep track of artworks that are on their way to an exhibition, submission, buyer, or another destination.

Open an artwork and click Ship in the top-right corner. Enter the send date, sender, recipient, expected arrival date, and the artworks included in the shipment. You can also add an optional tracking code.

Sender and recipient suggestions include your exhibitions, active submissions, and recorded artwork sales. Select Other to enter a name yourself. When you choose an exhibition or submission, related artworks appear first in the artwork search so you can add works traveling together.

Click Create Shipment. The shipment now appears below the artwork’s inventory number, on each included artwork card, and on the Dashboard under Shipments in progress.

Open a shipment from an artwork, an artwork card, or the Dashboard. Check or update its details and arrival date, then click Mark as received. The shipment is removed from the in-progress views.

You can also click Arrived on the artwork detail page to open the same window.

Open an in-progress shipment and click Mark as lost. Original artworks in the shipment are also marked as lost.

Lost shipments no longer appear on the Dashboard or artwork cards. They remain visible on each artwork detail page with Lost in: before the destination, so you can open the shipment and mark it as received if it is found.
